The Giants Trail

This trail bypasses the Fournier Marsh which is rich in biodiversity.

A flat and easy path, over 6.5 km, taking in a 3h30 walk around the Fournier marsh, emblematic spot of the New Caledonian dry forest. The melaleuca trees, the ancient banyan trees and the bird populations (ducks, cormorants, and whistling kites) that nest there make it a unique place. The cherry on the cake: the marsh bird observatory takes you to the heart of the birds’ living area and lets you peacefully observe a rare sight.
